How is Spinal Solution different?

On the initial visit our practitioners will review your goals and provide a clear roadmap on how to achieve them. Regularly check-up will be performed to ensure goals are being met.

Do I need a referral to see a practitioner from Spinal Solution?
No. Dr. Asgary is a primary health care provider and therefore no referral is necessary. However, some insurance companies may require a medical referral to process your claim for reimbursement. Most commonly needed when seeing a Physiotherapist or an RMT.
Will I require X-rays?
In most cases the answer is no. If, however during your history and examination we require x-rays we will discuss this with you. If x-rays are indicated, they are covered by OHIP.
How many times do I need to come?
The answer to this depends on your health goals. However we do not promote long treatment regimens or excessive visits. In most cases our treatment plans range from 8 or 12 visits.
How long are the visits?
Initial visits generally take 30 – 45 minutes. This will include patient history, full body examination, follow-up plan and first treatment. Subsequent visit generally take 20-30 minutes.
How do I make an appointment?

Does Spinal Solution bill directly to my insurance (Extended Health Care)?
If direct billing is allowed, the clinic will submit all claims on your behalf to your insurance provider via e-claims. If direct billing is not allowed, we will provide you with a receipt for you to submit to your carrier.
Regarding Extended Health Care, is assignment of benefit allowed?
Assignment of benefit is dependent on your insurance provider. The front desk administrators will find out for you before you start any treatments.
What is my coverage for treatments and products?
On your first visit, our front desk administrators will contact your insurance company and will provide you with your coverage for treatments and products.
